The title “Mind Control” most likely conjures up an image of brainwashing in political intrigue or religious cults. On this site, it refers to the fact that each person has the ability to control many aspects of his or her own mind’s functioning.

This site page discusses the control a person has over the “Rings of Life”^TM that are represented in the BuildValues.com logo.  A person uses the mind to determine how long and how deep to think about an issue.  One can consider focussing on the three BuildValues rings.  A person can focus the mind on observation (the “Look” ring). This involves making judgments about what is seen. A person can focus the mind on thinking (the “Think” ring).  This involves thinking about what is being observed, fitting it to the rest of one’s knowledge, and deciding what to do with it.  A person can focus on taking an action (the “Act” ring). This involves the mind’s direction toward achieving the chosen action. Of course, we have powerful enough minds to be engaging in the activities described by all three rings simultaneously.
